Scarlet Butterfly Media is a start-up video production company that quickly established itself in Newcastle upon Tyne by winning an enviable customer base by producing a quality portfolio of photos and videos. And all this without a website and little social media presence!
The owner was keen to the take the business to the next level and she knew what she wanted from her branding and website, but wasn’t sure where to start. Zealous guided her towards WordPress, the world’s most popular content management system (CMS), because of its easy to learn drag n drop functionality and the ability to rapidly publish updates and new portfolio items.
We developed an elegant and contemporary website with careful use of videos (so users with a slow internet connections or on a mobile device still enjoy their experience), beautiful imagery, striking colours and transition animations resulting in a design that really stands out from the crowd.
The bold fly-out menu looks great as it fills the screen and it makes the website seriously easy to navigate. We’ve embedded an interactive video player and slideshow, as well as tightly integrated links to social media, so the company’s latest work will always look great and be really easy to access and share.
