AboutCaroline Cottage
Caroline Cottage is a cosy, picturesque and well appointed two bedroom holiday cottage situated in the picture postcard Dales village of Romaldkirk near Barnard Castle in Teesdale.
The owner had been with their previous web host for several years but found them expensive and unreliable. There former web host’s service was very slow and despite their website being recently updated by them it still looked like it had been developed in the 1990s and was not well set up for SEO.
About this project
We’ve created an elegant new logo that perfectly reflects the cottage’s rural sophistication and relaxed style. We’ve built a website that is responsive so it looks great no matter what browser or device customers use, and we’ve included a number of useful features like an interactive Google Map with directions plus lots of photo galleries and an online contact form.
On the front-end there’s a booking calendar for clients to check availability and make a reservation. Behind the scenes there’s a booking system that makes administering bookings seriously easy, including automated email notifications when bookings are requested and approved by the website administrator.
